Workshop Series

Whether you’re new to the work of the bard or just want to “brush up your Shakespeare” this workshop is for you! Join award-winning director/actor Steve Wilson in an exploration of how to use the mechanics of Shakespeare’s language to charge your
classical work.
Participants will review the basic structure of Shakespearean verse,
investigate intensity of character and acting dynamics through practical work on Shakespeare monologues. Actors are encouraged to bring a Shakespeare monologue – either one that they have previously used or a new selection (if you don’t have one,
never fear - Steve will provide).
